On the morning of October 6, the 73rd ICID Congress on Irrigation and Drainage was held in Adelaide, Australia. And the 2022 (ninth) World Heritage Irrigation Structures was announced at the meeting. The four structures of Tongji Weir in Sichun Province, Xinghua Duotian in Jiangsu Province, Songgu Irrigation Area in Zhejiang Province, Chongyi Shangbao Terraces in Jiangxi Province were all listed in it.
The team of professor Liu Xueying from the College of Civil Engineering of ZJWEU provided technical support for the application of Tongji Weir in Sichun Province and Songgu Irrigation Area in Zhejiang Province. The team also provided the plan and guidance for the key part of the application of Xinghua Duotian in Jiangsu Province.
Up to now, the team of professor Liu Xueying has provided technical support for five listed World Heritage Irrigation Structures in China.
