From July 28 to 29, Chen Guangting, President of ZJWEU, and Zhao Bo, Vice President of ZJWEU, visited the Department of Human Resources and the Department of International Cooperation, Science and Technology of the Ministry of Water Resources, Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society, International Economic& Technical Cooperation and Exchange Center, China Water and Power Publishing & Media Group Ltd., China Association of Hydraulic Engineering Education, etc.
Chen introduced in detail the efforts and achievements made by the university in integrating with the water resources conservancy. He said that in recent years, the university had been closely focusing on the development needs of water conservancy, strengthening the integration and development of intelligent water resources, digital twin river, etc., taking water culture and water irrigation heritage as breakthrough points, leveraging its strengths and striving for optimal results. In terms of international exchange, ZJWEU actively serves foreign-related water conservancy enterprises, provides professional support in engineering project consulting and staff training, and promotes the development of water conservancy enterprises overseas.
Chen also shared the state of the Nanxun campus, which will be opened in September, and introduced its design concept that integrates learning, research, life, culture, and other elements together.
