Biography of the Presenter:
Yao Jianhua, Ph.D., professor, and doctoral supervisor. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of the Collaborative Innovation Center for High-end Laser Manufacturing Equipment in Zhejiang Province, Director of the Engineering Research Center for Laser Processing Technology at Zhejiang University of Technology, and Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering. He has long been engaged in research in the fields of laser surface modification and additive manufacturing. He has presided over more than 20 national and provincial-level research projects and over 100 enterprise cooperation projects. He has published more than 200 academic papers, among which more than 80 are included in SCI/EI. He has published 2 monographs and 7 textbooks, and has been granted 26 invention patents. As the first principal contributor, he has won 1 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 first prize and 1 second prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award, and 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 1 third prize of the Science and Technology Award of Zhejiang Province respectively. He has been selected as a national candidate of the "New Century Talents Project" and has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert with National Contributions". His main scientific research achievements have been widely applied in leading enterprises in industries such as power equipment, molds, and chemical equipment in China, bringing remarkable benefits.
