Biographies of the Presenters:
Angel Alberich Bayarri, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, is a Telecommunications Engineer in the Electronics major from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain (2002-2007). He studies the application of advanced image processing technologies in magnetic resonance imaging. He has published more than 60 scientific papers in internationally renowned journals, more than 80 international conference communications, 2 individual monographs, and participated in writing 15 books. In addition, he has been awarded 3 international invention patents. He founded the company QUIBIM (Quantitative Imaging of Biomarkers in Medicine), which is dedicated to using artificial intelligence for advanced analysis of medical images.
Alba García Seco de Herrera is a lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE) of the University of Essex (UK). She has published more than 60 papers in the fields of medical imaging, image retrieval, and evaluation. She is committed to the research of computer vision technologies for biomedical imaging and has rich experience in image retrieval and evaluation.
