Biography of the Presenter:
Zhang Dahai, Ph.D., is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University, Deputy Dean of the Research Institute of Advanced Technology of Zhejiang University, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET Fellow), a recipient of the Outstanding Young Scientists Fund in Zhejiang Province, a recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientists in the Ocean Field, a Young Scholar of the C.T. Tang Foundation, Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of the Professional Committee of Marine Technology and Equipment of the Chinese Society for Oceanography, a member of the Marine Renewable Energy System of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), and a member of the Organizing Committee of AWTEC (Asian Wave and Tidal Energy Conference Series) and the Chairman of AWTEC 2022. His main research focuses on marine energy equipment, marine electromechanical equipment technology, and fluid power and electromechanical control systems. He has successively won 1 first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education, 1 first prize of the Marine Engineering Science and Technology Award, 1 second prize and 1 third prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Zhejiang Province, and 1 Science and Technology Progress Award of Hangzhou City.
